The Harrisburg Motorcycle Club, Inc.

Founded in 1932, is the third oldest American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) Chartered motorcycle club in the United States. 

Our club was founded to promote motorcycle activities, both dirt and street motorcycle riding, consider and promote legislation, sponsor motorcycle sports events and safety campaigns and encourage fellowship and activities among club members and AMA members. On this site you'll find information about our activities, membership and facilities, along with descriptions of our events.

Harrisburg Motorcycle Club Riding Rules

  1. Riding by Members only (liability insurance restrictions prohibit the use of our riding facility by any non-member).
  2. No Member may ride without having first executed a formal Membership Release as part of his original membership application or as an addendum to his application. Contact the Membership Committee Chairman at any scheduled Club meeting for the appropriate Release form.
  3. No riding by Members under the age of 14 unless accompanied by parent or legal guardian. Members between the ages of 14 and 16 may ride only when accompanied by someone 18 or over.
  4. At a minimum, protective equipment consisting of DOT-approved full coverage helmet, shatter-proof goggles, protective pants and 8" high boots (min.) in compliance with current AMA Competition Regulations (Chapter XVI, Part E) must be worn at all times when riding.
  5. No riding alone.
  6. Riding in daylight hours only.
  7. Riders possess a validated gate card and be prepared to show current Official Harrisburg Motorcycle Club Membership Card upon request.
  8. Police all litter -- take every thing home with you!
